Best Ipods

I was thinking about getting the iPod Classic because I’m going to Europe and I want to watch videos on it. I currently have a iPod Nano (an older version that doesn’t have video.) I know that you can’t buy NBC shows and I wanted to get Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. Can I buy the dvds ang put them on the iPod Classic or should I keep my old iPod Nano for music and get a DVD player for the shows?

I have had my ipod touch jailbroken before but then i got an update and the jailbreak was gone. Then i tried to re-jailbreak it but it killed it and I had to get a new ipod touch. So I was wondering if there was a way to get different themes for my home screen like you could download from the program called Springboard on a jailbroken i-touch. Thanks if you can help.
