were the songs purchased from itunes? if so you can transfer the songs by plugging the ipod into your computer, and when it wants you to sync it should bring up a window to transfer the purchases by typing in the user name and password used to buy them. If their not them you would have to download them from the cd again. Are ypu sure you authorized it? If it still ddoesn’t work you may have to contact apple, but usually there no help!! hope i helped!
