How to sync my iPod to my new computer without losing everything?

Okay, so when I was like 10, I got a new computer. When I hooked my iPod up to it, I lost all my songs. I just got a new computer, and I would like to know how to sync my iPod (meaning put all of the music from it) on my new computer. I looked up other questions like this, but I couldn’t understand the computer terms. Any simplified answers?

you can’t put songs from an iPod onto a computer without specialized software. You’ll have to transfer (by flash drive) all the songs from your old computer to your new, and then re-sync your ipod to your new computer.

You can try this software to backup the stuffs in your iPod/iPhone/iTouch. Recover lost or missing music, backup and restore all of your iPod/iPhone/iTouch content, including your favorite songs, videos, photo files and Play Lists, and that’s not all. You can try this software to backup songs, videos, photos in iPod to PC, copy iPod songs, videos, photos to new ipod, computer or notebook.–itouch-iphone-transfer.html
